THE kind-hearted American footballer who ate lunch with an autistic boy, who normally sits alone, has returned to the 11-year-old’s school with a special gift.

Last Tuesday, Florida State star Travis Rudolph was labelled a ‘hero’ after being pictured hanging out and eating pizza with sixth-grader Bo Paske, during a visit to Montford Middle School.

Travis has now met Bo twice

The special gesture reduced Bo’s mum Leah Paske to tears, and his act of kindness went viral after the woman praised Travis on Facebook.

Leah revealed that Bo is rarely invited to birthday parties, and she worries every day about him being excluded by other kids.

Leah wrote: “I’m not sure what exactly made this incredibly kind man share a lunch table with my son, but I’m happy to say that it will not soon be forgotten.

“This is one day I didn’t have to worry if my sweet boy ate lunch alone, because he sat across from someone who is a hero in many eyes.

“Travis Rudolph thank you so much, you made this momma exceedingly happy, and have made us fans for life!”

Now a week on Travis, who plays for Florida State University, has returned to Bo’s school – to present him with his own custom-made Seminoles jersey.

The top has Paske printed on the back – while Travis also gave Bo and Leah all-access passes to watch the Ole Miss match in Orlando on Monday night.

Bo is now a big football fan

Travis plays for FSU... and told his newest fan he was aiming for NFL

Travis has also revealed what he and his new pal talked about over their lunch.

Apparently, Bo asked if Travis was an NFL player – and the footballer’s response was ‘not yet’. Bo also told the sports star he was a big fan of Florida State.
